Valor y Sueños Fall Fundraising Campaign
To our incredible AVANCE-Austin friends & family:
While we would have loved to invite you to be our guest at this year’s Valor y Sueños annual luncheon, the safety of each of you is of utmost importance. Our original plans for our fall event have been reinvented, and we have decided to make Valor y Suenos a month long fundraiser from September 15th—October 15th. As you know, these last few months have been challenging for everyone due to COVID-19. Our team was tasked with continuing to provide service to our Austin families in the safest way possible. We have managed to provide all of our programming virtually to our families and have provided each with a tablet to keep them learning and growing as a family. This new programming, curriculum, and technology have come with a price tag that we hope to offset during this month-long fundraiser.
There are so many ways for you to participate during this time, and we are so grateful for all your support. In addition to sponsorship opportunities and raffle tickets, you will be able to make a gift at any time. The campaign will conclude on October 15th with a virtual celebration and program. If you aren’t able to participate at any point during this 30-day campaign, please save the date for our “Valor y Suenos Under the Stars” Movie on the Lawn on March 4th. We will be showcasing the documentary “No Small Matter”, a film featuring the work of Avance. All sponsors will receive tickets for this event and you can purchase your tickets individually as well.

Coinciding with Hispanic Heritage Month, our 30-day online fundraising campaign will offer sponsorship opportunities, a raffle with a fantastic prize, and an opportunity to give.

During this brief online program, we will recognize our 2020 Griffith Family Legacy Award recipient, introduce the inaugural Mother of the Year award and recipient, plus hear from several special guests & announce the winner of our 2020 raffle. Raffle prize includes a Yeti Cooler, 2 bottles of Deep Eddy Vodka, a $100 H-E-B gift card all with a value of $500!

Thank you for your continued support of AVANCE-Austin. Currently, the City of Austin and Travis County remain at the Stage 5 Risk Level and the “Stay Home, Mask, and Otherwise Be Safe” Orders have been extended through February 16, 2021. As such, we are closely monitoring the situation and we will notify every ticket holder in a timely manner if circumstances require us to cancel the event.
