AVANCE-Austin honors Latino heritage, culture, and ancestors with the inaugural Nuestro Legado, Nuestro Futuro celebration. The event honors the past while investing in the families who now carry the torch and traditions into the future.

Rooted in tradition and guided by values of family, community, and opportunity, AVANCE was built on the belief that honoring where we come from strengthens where we are going. Through this Día de los Muertos–inspired brunch, sponsors help AVANCE‑Austin continue its mission of strengthening parents as their children’s first teachers and expanding pathways to education and workforce opportunities for families across Central Texas.

This event intentionally prioritizes partnering with locally-owned vendors and AVANCE alumni, ensuring that sponsorship dollars circulate back into the very communities AVANCE serves. Funds raised through Nuestro Legado, Nuestro Futuro directly support AVANCE programs that remove barriers, empower caregivers, and create lasting opportunities for Latino families.
