AVANCE Luncheon Honoring Gus Garcia = Success!

AUSTIN, TX (October 19, 2011) – The annual AVANCE-Austin luncheon was hosted at the Driskill Hotel in downtown Austin. We celebrated over ten years of making a difference in the lives of children, their families, and schools. We also honored legendary leader and advocate Gustavo “Gus” Garcia for his legacy of service and commitment to the education of the children in our community. Contributions from supporters like you helped us to meet and exceed our goal of $25,000 needed to receive the Meadows Foundation match grant.
