Success by 6 - Early Childhood Resources
The Success by 6 Early Childhood Resource and Referral is a community-wide tool that connects families and caregivers of children 0-6 years to local resources. The Program will create a collaborative referral network amongst local nonprofits and connect families to the best resources, including resources they would not have otherwise known about. This program is supported by Project HOPES (Healthy Outcomes through Prevention and Early Support). Search online or call 2-1-1 to find resources.
Austin Diaper Bank is dedicated to providing diapers to Central Texas families who need a clean, reliable supply of diapers for a healthy and comfortable quality of life.
Bright by Text provides quality information and trusted resources to parents and caregivers of children prenatal to five. Available in English and Spanish; the messages are comprised of research-based content from Bright by Three and partners such as PBS, Vroom, and Sesame Street.
Sesame workshop is the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street. Our mission is to help kids grow smarter, stronger, and kinder. We do so in more than 150 countries.

Even when schools are closed, you can keep the learning going with these special cross-curricular journeys. Every day includes four separate learning experiences, each built around a thrilling, meaningful story or video. Kids can do them on their own, with their families.
Vroom videos kick off conversations by showcasing parents and caregivers engaging in brain building activities with children. Share them in community spaces, insert into presentations, add links to emails/newsletters, or play at events.
PEEP Family Science was designed for parents and their children, especially those served by home visiting programs. It comes in free, easy-to-use apps, in English and Spanish, that make it fun for families to do science together at home. Featuring characters children love, the apps combine animated stories from the public TV show PEEP and the Big Wide World with playful, hands-on science activities.

AISD Meal Distribution
Austin ISD to provide virtual care for kids
All AISD families have access to telehealth through our partnership with Virtual Care for Kids. You can see a provider from the comfort of your home using a laptop, desktop computer, iPhone, Android phone, or tablet. Additionally, this service is currently waiving copays for AISD families.
Pflugerville ISD will provide free grab-and-go breakfast and lunch meals to all PfISD students at ten locations across the district beginning Monday, March 23. Grab-and-go meals will be available for curbside pickup at the following times (adjustments to this schedule may be made as needed, so please watch for updated communications).
- Breakfast: 8 - 9 a.m.
- Lunch: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
This program serves students 18 and younger regardless of Pflugerville ISD residency or enrollment. Families can pick up meals curbside in the carpool lanes at the campuses listed below. Students must be present in order receive meals. Parents may pick up breakfast and lunch at the same time. For those who do not drive and need to walk to pick up the meal, you will be allowed to walk and pick them up to go. Access to enter the buildings will not be available.

In order to provide for families, Round Rock ISD in collaboration with the Texas Department of Agriculture will prepare and distribute meals for children under the age of 19 at 10 locations around the District beginning Monday, March 23. Meals will be provided Monday through Friday and children must be present to receive a meal.
We be serving curbside breakfast from 8 – 9 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the following locations:

Central Health-funded CommUnityCare Health Centers to launch a hotline staffed with medical professionals to triage uninsured Travis County residents experiencing a coronavirus-like symptoms of (COVID-19).
“People experiencing coronavirus-like symptoms (COVID-19) who are uninsured and do not have an established doctor should call the CommUnityCare COVID-19 Hotline: 512-978-8775. This number is for uninsured Travis County residents – and established CommUnityCare patients – with COVID-19 symptoms.
To minimize spread of the virus, please call 512-978-8775 rather than going directly to a clinic, urgent care or emergency department. Hours of operation for this line will be Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.”

Comcast is offering 60 days of free in home internet. They are also offering low cost computers options ($150 for a computer). To sign up, applicants can simply visit www.internetessentials.com. The accessible website also includes the option to video chat with customer service agents in American Sign Language. There are also two dedicated phone numbers 1-855-846-8376 for English and 1-855-765-6995 for Spanish.
Google fiber is offering low-cost internet. Families can call (866) 777-7550 to see if they're eligible for the service.
Spectrum is offering free access for a limited time for households with children K-12 or college students. Call your local Spectrum provider for more information.
