Honoring City-Wide Leader Barbara Rush
Since 1997, Barbara Rush has been a dedicated champion for AVANCE-Austin. At the beginning phases of our Austin chapter, Barbara was highly instrumental in securing critical funding to ensure a stable foundation for success. Since her initial involvement, Barbara has devoted many years of service to help AVANCE achieve its mission of serving thousands of young children and their families. From volunteering at events to serving on the board, Barbara has invested her time, talent, and treasure into the continued growth of AVANCE. Her willingness to advocate and support causes that uplift her community is a driving characteristic to who she is and makes her a valuable and admirable leader in Austin.
On November 1, we will honor Barbara Rush with the Individual Hero Award at the Valor y Sueños Luncheon. We hope you’ll join us to thank Barbara for her investment, not only in AVANCE, but our community as a whole.
The Valor y Sueños Luncheon honors the courage & dreams of parents who strive against all odds to help their children grow up healthy, happy, and successful.
